David helped build his family’s first energy-efficient custom home when he was 12, and the building bug never left him. After earning a degree in Economics from Iowa State University, he moved to Minnesota and traded lumber for a building material wholesaler for several years. He returned to Arkansas in 1999 and joined the family business, eventually becoming VP of Sales and Marketing. David became CEO in 2015 and is a Certified Green Professional and former energy rater. He enjoys the outdoors and has a not-so-secret passion for fishing – his screen saver and framed pictures give him away. His favorite activities when not fishing are coaching his daughter’s sports teams, traveling, and hanging out with his family.
